Dear fellow Business Owner;

I’d like to take a brief moment to tell you why I am running for the State Senate and why I am asking for your support and vote on November 2nd.

Simply put? We need a voice.

Like you, I am frustrated with the State’s anti-business philosophy. I don’t believe that this challenge is specifically from any one political party, but an overall environment, which has deteriorated in the past 4 years.

While we have all been working diligently to make our companies successful, be great husbands or wives, ensure we can put food on the table and pay the mortgage, our Government has been continually making it harder. Excessive regulation, unrealistic restrictions, ever increasing taxation, It’s just become too much.

Until 2 years ago, I had never been political, never put a sign on my yard or donated to a political campaign. Like you, I was just working as hard as I could, yet making less. Seems like today, all we are working for is to pay more taxes, insurance and comply with an ever increasing regulatory environment.

I believe it’s time to send some business owners to Concord to represent us.

For the past two years I have been working as an advocate for us. You may have followed me when I pulled together almost 3,000 small business owners and fought against the LLC Income Tax, or rallied us again to insure we could claim a reasonable level of compensation without excessive taxation. Although we had success against the LLC Income Tax, unfortunately these are just two of what has been a score of job killing, economically damaging bills passed.

As business owners, we all know our state is in trouble, but we can fix it. Fixing it cannot come from raising any more taxes or fees. It needs to come from both making a smaller, more efficient government that can still provide vital services, combined with an expansion of the economic base. With business expansion in New Hampshire we can create revenue, without increasing taxes. We can get our friends and neighbors back to work, create confidence in the community and fix our “under-employment” problem.

We all chose to become business owners because we embraced the American Dream. The dream of being in control of our future and willing to work hard to make more than average. We know there is no guarantee of success, that you can’t make money on every day, venture or season. But we deserve the opportunity to try. We deserve the reward of the risk we take with our own money. We know that when we have a bad day, month, year or product, we can stand up, dust off our pants and get right back to the fight, for that opportunity is the American Dream.

None of us ask for a government hand out, we just want the government to get its hand out of our pocket. Or at least make it reasonable.

Some of you may have seen the entrenched political class personally attacking me and my wife. They are attacking to insure that the business community stays out of politics, so they can continue their assault on our income and future. To me, this is all the more reason to get the business community involved and protect our future.

As you know, I have not and refuse to participate in this negative junk. I have not and will not bash my opponent or the other party. It’s just not polite. This is about ideas and a plan to make New Hampshire great again, not creating false slanderous accusations.

So I am asking for your support and vote on Tuesday. I am asking you to join me in standing up for the business community and giving us a voice in the future of our State.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call my cell at 682-1165, email me at Andy4Senate@gmail.com or visit my website at Andy4Senate.com.

Thanks for the time and I appreciate your support.
